[Workshop] Informs 2020 - Part 1: Introduction to GAMS

This year GAMS Development Corporation/GAMS Software GmbH hosted a virtual workshop at the Informs annual meeting. The two hour workshop covered the full cycle from implementing a simple model in GAMS, to deployment in GAMS Miro, and finally solving models on centralised compute resources with GAMS Engine.

In this first part of the workshop Stefan explains the benefits of GAMS, and demonstrates how to implement and solve a simple optimisation problem.
