This video is a general overview of the functions and capabilities of WordStat text mining software. It is focused on the three principal text analysis approaches supported by WordStat 9:
1) The exploratory text mining approach that quickly extracts salient themes and trends.
2) The advanced quantitative content analysis approach that uses a taxonomy, lexicon, or dictionary approach to accurately measure specific topics that may be of interest.
3) The supervised machine learning approach that attempts to predict certain outcomes based on training sets you provide to the software.
